Significant working positions:

After a year - 1972 - in a medium size Italian pharmaceutical firm as responsible for quality control I took a position as Assistant to the scientific director at Recordati Pharm. for phase 1,2,3, clinical trials. Later covered the position of Scientific co-ordinator for South Europe at SEARLE Inc. (European office based in Munich - 1974-1976 - , reporting to the Medical Director Europe) In - 1976 -, out of the Milan office I worked for Montedison chemicals & pharmaceutical group (Carlo Erba - Farmitalia) as international P.M. and later as Regional Manager, responsible for two European subsidiaries. In the years - 1980-1981 - I set up and headed the marketing and representatives group for Syntex Inc, division at the Exclusive Italian agent company, Recordati SpA Organisation of the team, organisation of technical / commercial events and coordination of operations with US licensor. - 1981-1984 - After having, in previous roles, gained a management and international experience I took the position of Manager for the International Business at a mechanical company. In this position I also created and Directed (CEO) the German commercial subsidiary. (Dusseldorf).

Consultancy Activity:

Since - 1984 - on the base of short consultancy term / temporary management agreements, I have been working in different industrial and commercial fields, taking care of international business, general management, company's reorganisation, creative marketing and head hunting. IP and TT Support in Industrial and academic environment, training and lecturer at Univ. level Main assignments - 1984-1986 - Gen. Management of a luxury consumer-goods sales consortium.(temporary manager) The group of associated companies had, along side the day by day operation, the objective, to assess the rational of organising a common international commercial network. On this occasion I had contacts with authorities and top operators around the world (Europe, US, Japan, etc.), At the same time I took a minority share in a SW house, and became board member. - 1988 - Managing director of the German commercial subsidiary (Frankfurt) of the biggest Italian aluminium manufacturer, with some problems that recalled the steel industry. Within 9 months the company's situation turned, after 7 years of losses, to profitability. Parallel to this activity I studied the international operations of a medium size cosmetic manufacturer.( distribution and sale through pharmacy) - 1990-1991- on a free lance base, together with a top management consultancy group, I was engaged with the reorganisation of a big trading company, the strategic task included identification of the new company's mission in view of the changing market (East Europe) and head hunting the new top managers. - 1992 - I have trained new entrepreneurs in setting up their business-plan for their new activities.(training financed by EU). The same year I was associated with a trading company engaged also in investments in East Europe in Industrial and consumers goods. - 1993-1994 - training of new entrepreneurs as in - 1992 - continued. . Trading as above - continued. - 1995 - International market survey & analysis in a specific building material sector. - 1996 - Established a consulting company dedicated mainly to assist SME and new business. Business Development Manager at a Research &Education cosortium (university) - 1998-2003 - Consulting in Technology transfer and innovation, I.P and intangible assets management in association with a patent law firm - 2003-2004 - Further consulting for innovation and intellectual properties management, established for third parties, a start up firm and acting as CEO (high tech ,TLC and multimedia) consulting for business planning, partner in a non European Start-up firm operating biometric security. Training and organising course in IP management mainly aimed to SME’s Frequently invited as lecturer at different Universities (Technical and Economy departments) and institutions (TII, MATIMOP, Chambers of Commerce, Industrial Associations etc. ) on issues concerning IP management, Tech. Transfer, Innovation & Competition Education :Multicultural education and working experience. High school in Israel and University degree in Chemistry in Milan several appraisal courses.
